After introducing Manisha Koirala as Sanjay Dutt’s mother Nargis in the poser of Sanju, Rajkumar Hirani makes the fans meet the actor’s pillar of support through ‘thick and thin’, his wife Maanayata Dutt.
Director Rajkumar Hirani took to Twitter to share the latest poster of upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay and Dia Mirza as his wife Maanayata Dutt. While sharing the poster, Hirani also gives a shout out to the woman who stood strong in the most difficult times of the actor providing him with hope for a good future. He wrote, “And here comes Dia Mirza as Maanayata, someone whose stood by #Sanju through thick and thin. #RanbirKapoor”
This is not unknown to Sanjay Dutt fans that Maanyata has been there with Sanjay Dutt when he was in the middle of the biggest controversies and court cases. She stood by him throughout his prison days and even took care of their twins, Shahraan and Iqra, in the most beautiful ways. Delighted to play the character even Dia Mirza shared the poster on her social media saying, "Means so much to play Maanayata Dutt, the wonderful and strong woman who stands by #Sanju through it all!"
Earlier Rajkumar Hirani shared the posters featuring other two most important people in Sanjay Dutt's life- his parents Nargis Dutt and Sunil Dutt. While actress Manisha Koirala’s resemblance to Nargis blew away a lot of minds, the poster featuring Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt giving Ranbir Kapoor (Sanjay Dutt in the film) a warm hug brought tears to many eyes.
Rajkumar Hirani has been releasing a new poster featuring different important characters daily. He has already introduced us with Sanjay Dutt’s best friend played by Razai actor Vicky Kaushal and Sonam Kapoor playing the role of a woman who was a major force in Sanjay Dutt’s romantic life.
While these characters have played a defining role in Sanjay Dutt’s life, Hirani also introduced the fans with the Anushka Sharma, who is playing the character of Sanju’s biographer in the film. The look and mystery around her character have taken the interest of the fans to another level. While sharing the poster, Hirani wrote, “And here is my dear friend Anushka. It’s a special appearance....but she worked on every nuance of the role for days together. Can anyone guess who she plays?”
Even though all the character in the biopic seems to have step into the lives of the people they are playing perfectly, no one can deny that Ranbir Kapoor takes the cake completely. His resemblance to Sanjay Dutt is uncanny and the way he has taken over his body language and style is the mark of a phenomenal actor. The film will definitely a treat for the audience.
