Pooja Dadwal, who starred in the Bollywood film Veergati opposite Salman Khan is suffering from tuberculosis. The former actress is now seeking help from the superstar for her treatment. Pooja has reportedly reached out to the Tiger Zinda Hai actor for financial aid.
Pooja sought Salman Khan’s help in a video where she said she has no money for her treatment.
"Salman sir, today, I am at that point in my life when I really need your help. Some of my friends have helped me come out from the well of death. Neither do I have money for my treatment, nor do I have someone to support me," Pooja said.
"I don't expect any money from you sir, but I want my treatment to be done. I want to live again. I hope, seeing my present condition, you will stand by me," she added.
Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan has extended a helping hand to the actress, according to a Hindustan Times report. A video of the actor's colleague handing over some money and fruits have now gone viral across the internet.
Earlier, the actress revealed to Navbharat Times, “Six months ago I learned that I have something as serious as TB. I tried to reach out to Salman Khan for help but was not able to establish any contact. If he sees my video, then perhaps he will help me out.
Pooja Dadwal was seen with Salman Khan in the 1995 flick 'Veergati'. She later starred in movies like 'Hindustan', 'Inteqaam' and 'Dabdaba'.
