Salman Khan's alleged controversial statement made against Valmiki community reached Supreme Court. The Tiger Zinda Hai actor filed a petition asking SC to quash the FIR which was registered against him in Rajasthan's Churu district. The petition also requests that all state police be instructed that no FIRs or complaints shall be registered against him pertaining to this case. Now, the apex court has decided to stay proceedings in six cases against the actor.
“Supreme Court stays proceedings in 6 cases against Salman Khan filed in different courts across the country. The actor had allegedly made comments against Valmiki Community. The Court will hear if FIR against him will be quashed or not. Next date of hearing 23 July”, according to ANI report.
For the uninitiated, Salman Khan had used the word ‘Bhangi’ to describe his dancing style in comparison to the dancing talents participating on a reality show.
