Superstar Salman Khan announced on Monday that debutants Pranutan Behl and Zaheer Iqbal's upcoming film titled "Notebook" will release on March 29, 2019. Salman who has previously launched fresh faces like Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, Warina Hussain and his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, took to social media to share the first look of the new actors. "The most beautiful love story has a release date... 'Notebook' hits the cinemas on March 29, 2019. Trailer coming soon," Salman captioned the image.
Pranutan is late actress Nutan's granddaughter and actor Mohnish Bahl's daughter. Zaheer doesn't come from a film family, but his father and Salman have been childhood friends. The love story is set in Kashmir. Salman Khan Films is producing the film along with Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde of Cine1 Studios. It is directed by Nitin Kakkar. Other details related to the films are still under wraps.
Earlier in an interview with The Times of India, director Nitin Kakkar said, “Zaheer is made for the movies. He is a fantastic actor and a born star. His greatest asset is his honesty and that shows on screen. Zaheer’s level of commitment towards his work is great. He will go a long way.”
Along with the release date, Salman Khan also revealed that the trailer of the film will be released soon. Earlier while introducing Zaheer Iqbal aka Zahero, Salman Khan took to his Twitter and shared a picture with Zaheer. He wrote, "How these kids grow up so soon... ALWAYS keep giving your best #ZAHERO no matter what. Stand tall and always bend backwards for those u love and those who love u, Yeh yaad rakhna that the most important thing in life is Respect and Loyalty. @iamzahero"
While introducing Zaheer officially, Salman also introduced us to Zaheer's father, Iqbal, and revealed that the actor owes him Rs. 2011. Here's what he posted-
