Superstar Salman Khan has a charismatic personality but do you know that his persona played no role in getting him his first movie. Actually, neither his name nor his good looks contributed in getting the bhaijaan the first Bollywood project. Though Maine Pyar Kiya is regarded his official debut film, Salman first appeared in Biwi Ho Toh Aisi, co-starring Rekha, Farooq Shaikh and Bindu in pivotal roles.
Salman played the role of Farooq's younger brother in the movie and had very little scope to perform. The 1988 movie was written and directed by J.K. Bihari. Recently, Salman revealed how he got his first film and it will crack you up. During the launch of show Dus Ka Dum, Salman shared a funny tale around his casting. The Race 3 actor said that a couple of years back when he met J.K. Bihari, he asked why he chose him for the role.

'Bihariji told me that after refusal from numerous actors, he was completely frustrated. When one fine day, he was at his garage turned office, he told him team that the next idiot to walk in would bag the film. And it was me,' said Salman. He further shared that, on the contrary, he got ready for the audition and entered the office in style and speed. Salman thought that he was signed because of his personality.
Salman also talked about his television debut. The actor said that initially he was scared to show his real side as back in 2008, he had a negative image. After the launch of Dus Ka Dum, he realised the power of this medium.
