Fans have been waiting to see superstar Salman Khan and Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone in a film together for a long time. The two are industry’s biggest superstars and definitely a hit-machine in their own style that not just people but filmmakers are also interested in pairing them up for a big film. Salman khan has almost worked with all the leading ladies of Bollywood. He would be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film Inshallah with Alia Bhatt as well but looks like the stars haven't fallen in place for these two, Salman and Deepika, to share screen space.
Recently, while talking to DNA, Salman Khan was quizzed about working with Deepika Padukone and the rumours that they might be seen together in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. The actor said, “Actually even I’m wondering when will I work with Deepika? No one has come forward to cast me with her.” Then, he smiled and added, “Deepika is a big star, so it has to be worth her while to do a film with me. Right now, there is nothing.” Well, looks like the fans have to wait a little longer for the Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone to work together!
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is loaded with films right now. Listing his slate of forthcoming projects, the Dabangg Khan said, “In Bharat, Katrina Kaif is my heroine. She will also be my leading lady in the third part of the Tiger series. In Dabangg 3, there’s Sonakshi Sinha. In Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kick 2, I’m paired with Jacqueline Fernandez. So, if something comes up with Deepika, then perhaps...”
On the related note, Salman Khan will be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar directorial Bharat next which will hit the theatres on June 5, 2019. The film also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover in important roles. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone has begun preparing for her next Meghna Gulzar film Chhapaak which is based on a real-life story of acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The actress was last seen in 2018’s Padmaavat for which she bagged all the top honours.
