Salman Khan comes forward to help Saroj Khan after Bollywood fails to give her work

Salman Khan met Saroj Khan and promised to give her opportunities in his future projects.

Bollywood's ace choreographer Saroj Khan recently confessed that she is running short of works and has no film offers. Saroj Khan also revealed that she was dropped out of Thugs of Hindostan song because of Katrina Kaif. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, she revealed that the industry is no more interested in giving her work. Now, the latest development in the news is that the Bhai has come forward to help the veteran choreographer. Salman Khan, who has collaborated with Saroj Khan for his first film Biwi Ho Toh Aisi (1988) and his cult classic Andaz Apna Apna (1994) promised to give her work in his future projects.

Mid-Day in a report said that the superstar met Saroj Khan and assured her of giving her work. Talking about the meeting, Saroj said, “When we met, Salman asked me what I was doing nowadays. So I told him honestly that I don’t have any work [film offers], and that I am teaching Indian classical dance to young actresses. Upon hearing that, he said, ‘Now, you will work with me’. I know he is a man of his word, so he will keep his promise.”

Actually, in an interview, Saroj Khan revealed that she was replaced with Prabhudeva in Thugs of Hindostan as Katrina refused to do the song without rehearsals.

On a related note, Madhuri Dixit will be seen performing on a song in Kalank, which has been choreographed by Saroj Khan. The duo has earlier collaborated for iconic tracks like Ek Do Teen from N Chandra's Tezaab, Tamma Tamma Loge from Raj N Sippy's Thanedaar and Dhak Dhak Karne Laga from Indra Kumar's Beta. It will be a Mujra for the climax scene of Abhishek Varman's Kalank. Saroj Khan hopes that people will remember her after they watch the song.

Meanwhile, Kalank is a multi-starrer featuring Madhuri Dixit as Bahaar Begum, Alia Bhatt as Roop, Sanjay Dutt as Balraj Chaudhry, Varun Dhawan as Zafar, Sonakshi Sinha as Satya Chaudhry and Aditya Roy Kapur as Dev Chaudhry.
