Ranveer Singh on shoulder injury: Intend to come back stronger

Ranveer Singh, who recently suffered a shoulder injury, will not perform at this year's IPL opening ceremony, the actor's spokesperson informed recently. The 32-year-old star has been advised not to overstrain his shoulder, which he injured during a football match. He was scheduled to perform at the grand finale on April 7 event. Now the actor says he is doing good and intends to come back stronger.

The "Bajirao Mastani" star had injured his shoulder during a football match. He has been strictly advised by doctors to avoid performing at the opening ceremony of the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season on April 7.
However, a statement on behalf of Ranveer's spokesperson said that the actor will continue to shoot for his upcoming film "Gully Boy" as per its "shooting schedule which is not physically strenuous since only performance-based talkie scenes are left to be shot."
According to the statement, "the actor is in consultation with the doctors and who will advise him, in a day or two, on whether he would able to perform at this year's IPL opening ceremony in which he is doing the finale act.
