Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone definitely make a cute pair and there is hardly anytime when the two doesn’t shower each other with love. Recently, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt appeared on the most popular comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, to promote their upcoming film Gully Boy and as the host Kapil Sharma introduced the actor, he was seen busy with his wife Deepika Padukone on the video call.
A video has gone viral on the internet in which Kapil Sharma, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are seen having fun in the behind the scenes shots. Looking at the camera, Kapil Sharma introduces the star cast of Gully Boy and as he calls Ranveer, he is seen busy with his wife Deepika Padukone on a video call and can’t stop blowing kisses to her. After disconnecting the call and saying his goodbyes to Deepika, Ranveer acknowledge Kapi’s introduction and reveals to the audience that he was talking to their ‘bhabhi’. Watch the video here-
In another video, Gully Boy actors Ranveer Singh and Alia are seen rapping their popular track “Apna Time Aayega” and entertaining the audience to the fullest. Among the funny moments from the show is another video in which Ranveer and Alia are seen holding a poster that reads “Funny Boy Kapil Sharma. Apna Show Aagaya”. Showing the banner to the television audience, Alia jokes, “This year it will be Gully Boy and next year Zoya Akhtar will release Funny Boy starring Kapil Sharma.” Watch the video and the poster here-
On a related note, Ranveer Singh recently opened up about his feelings for wife Deepika Padukone in a letter and said, "I find it particularly challenging to articulate all my feelings about her, and even though I find language to be a limiting means to express myself, I shall try. I can safely say I'm the closest person to her in this world. I know her deeply as a person and I've collaborated closely with her as a professional."
Talking about Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh will play a struggling rapper in this Zoya Akhtar film. The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Kalki Koechlin in important roles. It is loosely based on the life of Mumbai street rappers Divine and Naezy. The film is scheduled to release on February 14th this year.
