Not just the fans but the duo’s family is also happy about their relationship. After father Rishi Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has opened up about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s relationship.
Talking to Hindustan Times, Riddhima got candid about her brother’s growing closeness with Alia Bhatt. She said, "Hota hi hai (speculation), ask him (laughs)! What can I say? I am happy if my brother is happy, and I am a very happy sister (smiles)." Earlier, even Alia Bhatt’s parents, Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt, have been all praises for Ranbir Kapoor and his brilliant acting skills.
On the other hand, Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor’s love for Alia Bhatt is visible through her adorable comments on the actress’ pictures. Rishi Kapoor in an interview with Mumbai mirror has earlier said, “It’s Ranbir’s life. Who he wants to get married to is his prerogative,” he said. “Neetu likes her, I like her, Ranbir likes her. Get it? I can’t be judgmental. After all, my uncles Shammiji (Shammi Kapoor) and Shashiji (Shashi Kapoor) and I chose our life partners. Ranbir is entitled to choose his.”
