Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone parted their ways almost a decade ago but still, when they appear together, fans can't stop gushing about them. Ranbir and Deepika have moved on and are currently in a happy space with their partners. While Deepika got married to Ranveer Singh, Ranbir is dating Alia Bhatt. Meanwhile, ex-flames came together once again over a cup of coffee.
Before you start speculating, let us tell you that Ranbir and Deepika will soon be seen in a coffee commercial. Leaked pictures from the shoot have gone viral on Instagram and we just can't take our eyes off from the adorable jodi.
For unversed, Ranbir and Deepika went on to work in two films even after calling it quits. The couple impressed everyone with their crackling chemistry in Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in 2013 and Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha in 2015.
Recently, when Deepika's husband Ranveer Singh was asked whether he feels insecure about his actress-wife working with her ex-boyfriend, his response was savage. "Do I seem like an insecure person, really? I am not an insecure type at all. I am extremely secure in who I am and what I am. I know that nobody can love her the way I do, so it's cool," he said.
Ranveer then went on to express his desire to collaborate with Ranbir and said that whenever they will come together, it will be epic. "We have had many opportunities to work together but none of them have worked out. But you never say never. I have a feeling it will happen in the near future. Hopefully, I would like it to happen sooner rather than later. And I know he wants to collaborate too. So let's hope it happens. I think it will be quite epic," he said.
On a related note, Deepika will soon start shooting for Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak, which is based on acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. In a note on Deepika's website, Meghna shared a funny reason behind Deepika's approval for this film. She wrote that Deepika agreed to do the movie “because of a scene where she gets to eat kairi (raw mangoes) with salt and red chilli powder.”
