Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding festivities have begun at Anil Kapoor's bungalow. Sonam and Anand, who have been seeing each other for over two years now will tie the knot on May 8 in an intimate affair. Today is the mehendi ceremony of the Bollywood actress which is being attended by many celebrities including Kirron Kher, Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Maheep Kapoor among others.

The man of the moment Anand Ahuja arrived wearing a pastel pink shade ethnic outfit. Anand, who returned from New York a couple of days ago was all smiles while being papped at Mumbai airport. Sanjay Kapoor's wife Maheep Kapoor and daughter Shanaya Kapoor were spotted outside the Anil's bungalow in designer threads. While Maheep looked stunning in Salwar Kameez, Shanaya was glowing in pink ethnic attire. Sonam's grandmother was also spotted outside the bungalow. On May 1, The Kapoors and The Ahujas made a joint announcement about the wedding. The official statement says: ''The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.''

E-invites of Sonam's wedding have already gone viral on social media. The card is as beautiful as the couple. As mentioned on the card, Sonam's wedding will take place between 11 am to 12:30 pm at Rockdale, 226, Bandstand, Bandra, which is Sonam's aunt bungalow. The ceremony will be followed by lunch. On the same day at 8 pm, a lavish party will be thrown at The Leela, Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor's house has already become a meeting spot for all Bollywood friends of Sonam like Varun Dhawan, Swara Bhasker, Jacqueline Fernandez and Karan Johar.
