Padmaavat actress Deepika Padukone spills beans on how her wedding would be like!
Deepika Padukone picked Sabyasachi Mukherjee over Manish Malhotra.
The year 2018 started off with rumours of Deepika Padukone getting secretly ‘engaged’ to beau Ranveer Singh at an undisclosed location. After another supercouple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot in December, fans were eager to see their favourite actress Deepika to walk the aisle with her longtime beau Ranveer. But the rumours were just rumours, sadly! There are no developments on Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s engagement, but the actress has surely spilt some beans on what her dream wedding would be like.
In a recent chat show, which is yet to be aired, Padmaavat actress Deepika Padukone got candid about her wedding with host Neha Dhupia. When asked to pick a fashion designer for her wedding day, she picked Sabyasachi Mukherjee over Manish Malhotra, who is favourite of most of the Bollywood celebrities.
Last year in December, Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s sartorial skills were put to display at Virushka wedding. Anushka Sharma wore a pale pink Sabyasachi lehenga while Virat Kohli wore a traditional bandhgala. Fashion police couldn’t stop gushing over Anushka’s bridal outfit. Later, at their reception, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma went for Sabyasachi for the gala event. It seems like Deepika Padukone is pretty impressed by her colleague’s wedding outfits.
Deepika Padukone also took a jibe at her boyfriend Ranveer Singh’s choice of clothes. When asked to complete the sentence ‘Ranveer, stop doing’, she immediately completed with ‘outrageous clothes’.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh worked together in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela and started dated each other ever since then. There were frequent reports of their breakup, but the couple came out stronger with each passing year.
A few days ago, rumours had it that Ranveer’s family presented Deepika with expensive diamond jewellery and Sabyasachi saree on her birthday. All these things signal towards the biggest wedding of the year to be soon taking place.
