Earlier talking about the trip, Neha revealed that Mauritius was her first abroad trip. "It's a tough flight for a little baby, but we are going to do it. It's Mehr's first trip abroad. The first time I ever traveled out of the country was Mauritius, and it is the same with my daughter. We had her passport made when she was a month-and-a-half old, and her photograph saw her all swaddled up in clothes," Neha Dhupia told Mid-Day.
Earlier in an interview, Neha revealed the reason behind keeping her pregnancy a secret. The actress said she feared that because of the baby bump, people might consider her unfit for the job. "I didn't want to tell people that I was pregnant for a large part of these nine months because I didn't want people's attitude towards me to change. I was worried people would stop offering work. It was a good thing my bump wasn't showing till the sixth month because appearances matter here, and one might be assumed to be unfit for a job," the actress had said.
