Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput will next be seen in Abhishek Kapoor's directorial Kedarnath. The movie which has 2013 Uttarakhand massive flood as the backdrop also features debutante Sara Ali Khan. Sushant made his Bollywood debut with Abhishek's 2013 film Kai Po Che featuring Rajkummar Rao and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles. Now, when the actor-director duo has collaborated again for a fresh project, has Abhishek noticed any change in Sushant?
Replying to the above question, Abhishek said there is a change but that's only for good. People do change and he too wasn't expecting Sushant to be the same person. ''Of course there is a change. People change. It has been so many years since Kai Po Che! released and he has had so much exposure after that, has done so many films and is different person. But that’s good as even I wasn’t expecting to meet the same person I had met some five years ago. I am sure even he didn’t meet the same person that I was back then, and we have both evolved in our own ways. However, Sushant’s dedication to his craft and his research for the character he plays is even better now. He is evolving beautifully,'' Kedarnath director told Mumbai Mirror.
Kedarnath landed in troubled waters several times. After tussle between producers and the director, the project was put on the back burner. Now after the trailer launch, priests of the shrine town of Kedarnath have demanded a blanket ban on the film claiming that the story promotes Love jihad.
Kedarnath is slated to release on December 9. Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan's second movie Simmba, co-starring Ranveer Singh will hit the screens on December 28. On the other hand, Sushant has started shooting for Nitesh Tiwari's Chichore.
