Kedarnath filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor aka Gattu Kapoor welcomed his second child with wife Pragya Yadav on Tuesday. The couple named their new bundle of joy, Shamsher which means ‘sword’ in English. On Tuesday, in a lengthy Instagram post, the filmmaker introduced the munchkin to the world with a picture of his wife.
He wrote, “The ease with which our son has entered this world carried the same confidence his mother has like a lion. In fact, he is a first amongst lions. His mother and I have decided to call him Shamsher.”
Shamsher is Abhishek Kapoor and Pragya Yadav’s second child. They are already parents to a son named Isana who was born in 2016.
On Thursday, the couple was spotted was spotted at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai with their newborn in their arms. Their elder son Isana also accompanied his parents.

Earlier, Abhishek Kapoor announced the birth of Shamsher with a cute video of Isana.
Abhishek Kapoor married Pragya Yadav in 2015. She debuted in Bollywood with Saqib Saleem-starrer Hawaa Hawaai, helmed by Amole Gupte. On the other hand, Abhishek has helmed many films including Rock On!!, Kai Po Che and Fitoor.
Earlier, Abhishek Kapoor was in news for his fallout with KriArj Entertainment's Prerna Arora. The heavily publicised feud between the filmmaker and producer even knocked the doors of court, with both of them filing legal complaints against each other.
On the work front, Abhishek Kapoor will be presenting his next offering Kedarnath, which stars debutant Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role. After much hurdles, the film is finally releasing on November 30, 2018.
