Katrina Kaif has managed to floor the audience yet again with her terrific appearance in Salman Khan starrer Bharat’s trailer. The actress doesn’t just steal the limelight for her elegant look, but her character also appears to be a strong one in the film. Katrina has kept her fans updated with her journey of shooting Bharat by sharing a series of pictures and videos from behind the scenes of the film. As the trailer of the film hit the internet on Monday, the actress took to her social media to introduce her fans with her character- Kumud Raina from 1975.
Katrina shared a gorgeous picture of her look from the film, from the era of 1975, and wrote, “Kumud Raina 1975 .... I had the most incredible time working on this character, the whole journey has been the most exciting for me yet, after working with @aliabbaszafar in three films. Can’t wait for everyone to see the film.” In the picture, Katrina is seen in her beautiful curly hair and donning a light green saree. She looks synonymous to spell-binding in the picture. Before releasing teh trailer of teh film, makers released a number of posters of the Salman Khan starrer. The actor shared the poster on his social media in which he featured with Katrina Kaif saying, “Aur phir humare zindagi mein aayi 'Madam Sir'” The poster is said to feature both Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan from the 1970s era and they look breath-taking. In the poster, Salman Khan is seen sporting a miner look and Katrina Kaif woos in her curly hair. In the background, one can see the map of Kuwait which gives an idea that Salman is working at an oil rig. The poster definitely peaks the curiosity of the fans about what kind of relationship will the two stars share in the film. Earlier, the duo has already given glimpses of their scenes from the film Bharat and it is also said that they have shot a wedding scene in the film as well.
Recently, Katrina Kaif also shed light on how she bagged the role in Salman Khan Bharat and revealed that her friendship with director Ali Abbas Zafar or Salman was not the reason. In an interview to Mid Day, Katrina said, “I read the script from start to finish in three hours and immediately called him to tell him that I loved it. I realised there was an opportunity of going the extra mile with this character. So, it had nothing to do with my friendship with Salman or Ali. In fact, Salman did not even call me after I signed the film. We met directly on the set.”
On the work front, Katrina Kaif was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Zero nad garnered much-praise from teh critics as well as the audience. After Bharat, teh actress will be seen sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar in Rohit Shetty's cop film Sooryavanshi.
