After two grand wedding ceremonies, one according to Hindu rituals and the other according to Sikh traditions, popular comedian and film actor Kapil Sharma hosted a reception along with his newlywed wife Ginni Chatrath in his hometown Amritsar. The lavish party was thrown for the comedian’s close friends and family from the city. From Abbas-Mustan, directors of Kapil Sharma's Bollywood debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon to Punjabi singer Daler Mehendi, many celebs were also spotted at the reception.
For the reception, Kapil wore a burgundy bandhgala and black pants while Ginni looked stunning in a pastel pink and green lehenga. The pictures and videos from the gala evening have already surfaced the internet and they are proof that the guests had a lot of fun at the reception. Talking about the wedding, taking to Instagram, Kapil Sharma himself shared the first look of himself and Ginni’s from the Hindu and Sikh wedding. While the comedian is seen wearing a mehendi green colored sherwani paired with a golden turban for teh Hindu rituals, bride Ginni looks gorgeous in a red lehenga. For the Sikh ceremony, Kapil is seen wearing a white sherwani with pink border and a pink turban, on the other hand, Ginni is seen donning a gorgeous pink lehenga. On the work front, Kapil Sharma has started shooting for a new edition of "The Kapil Sharma Show" with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as its first celebrity guest. The episode, which will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television, will also feature Salman's brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan as well as their father Salim Khan, read a statement. Kapil will be joined by his original gang - Chandan, Kiku Sharda and Sumona Chakravarti. The audience will also get to see comedians Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek along with Rochelle Rao.
