He along with the old cast, started a new show, The Kapil Sharma Show and as expected, it was also a big hit. From his rib ticking jokes to watching him flirt with actresses, viewers made TKSS topped the TRP charts. He also made his Bollywood debut with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. The movie performed well at the box office.
But life can never be same. Kapil embroiled in a controversy after his mid-air fight with his former co-star Sunil Grover. It was being said that the comedian couldn’t handle stardom. In fact, while promoting his second film Firangi, the actor himself said that he also battled depression during those days.
