Kangana Ranaut, the Queen of Bollywood and millions of hearts, has kickstarted the promotions of her much-awaited film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi with much elegance and vogue. The actress is seen sporting various traditional looks as she gets candid while promoting the film. Other than talking about her larger than life film, the actress recently talked about her contemporary actresses as well as confessed about her desire to work with desi girl Priyanka Chopra.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kangana Ranaut said, "I would definitely like to do (a movie with Priyanka). We have done a film called Krrish 3 together where she was playing a homely girl but I think if we both are like supergirls or something that would work. Me and Priyanka can kick some butts. Essentially she is very like that person, she can kick butts, she is quite tough."
Kangana Ranaut wants to work with Priyanka Chopra again
During another interview with News18, Kangana Ranaut was asked about the other actresses in B-town and if she feels threatened by them. She stated, " don't feel so threatened by anyone around. You know like you see I will praise Alia or I would praise Anushka or I would praise everyone. I never shied away from going to Deepika's Piku trial. Everyone I have praised in my capacity. Sonakshi's Lootera I saw and the whole year I praised her. I don't get threatened. Why don't I see same sort of...why is everyone like, "Oh, oh, oh she doesn't exist"? Why is that going on? I exist. My film has crossed millions and millions of views and it is one of the most promising films of this year. So when they pretend I don't exist...nobody ever talks about my teasers or trailers."
This is no secret that Kangana Ranaut’s bold and outspoken personality often bring her in the limelight which makes her less approachable by others. But there is no denying that her powerful screen presence also makes her a desirable choice of every filmmaker. Directed by Krish and Kangana Ranaut, Manikarnika is one of the much awaited movies of 2019. The film also stars Jishu Sengupta, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongappa, Atul Kulkarni, Ankita Lokhande and Zeeshan Ayub among others. The film is written by the writers of Baahubali and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The film will hit the screens on January 25.
