The celebrated couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma hosted a grand wedding reception in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. Several Bollywood biggies and cricket celebs attended Virushka’s reception at St. Regis Hotel in Lower Parel. Amid the stunning gala, friends turned enemies Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar stumbled upon each other. According to sources, the actress and the filmmaker arrived at Virushka’s reception just few minutes away from each other. Kangana apparently arrived before Karan and, when her eyes met KJo’s, the Simran actress gave a pleasant smile.
“It was nothing less than an epic moment. Kangana Ranaut, who has arrived just moments before Karan Johar, was happily posing with yesteryear divas Rekha and Madhuri Dixit Nene. It is then when Rekha spotted Karan and waved out to him. Just then, Kangs and KJo exchanged more than just a glance. They smiled at each other and Kangana took an exit after exchanging a few hugs with Rekha and Madhuri,” a source was quoted as saying to India.com.

Furthermore, the source said that there was nothing awkward about what happened. Kangana and Karan seemed totally unaffected by each other’s presence just few steps away from each other.

The lovebirds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma who tied the knot on 11 December at a heritage resort in Tuscany hosted their first reception in Delhi for family and close friends. The party was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the one in Mumbai was for their industry friends. The function was held in Astor Ballroom which can accommodate up to 300 guests and is at the ninth level of the hotel. The dreamy venue had 23-foot-high ceilings and crystal chandeliers.
