Without any official announcement, she deleted all the Roka ceremony pictures from her Instagram. This sparked speculations that Ishita Kumar has called her wedding off with Sidharth Chopra. Later, Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra confirmed the news while talking to media. However, Priyanka herself never deleted the Roka pictures from her Instagram. Months later, Ishita Kumar shared a cryptic post about men on her social media. She wrote, "Men no longer give us butterflies. Straight high blood pressure now."
Instagram users were quick to jump to the conclusion that Ishita Kumar is talking about none other than her ex-fiance Sidharth Chopra.

On Mother's Day, Ishita Kumar thanked her mother Nidhi Kumar for being so strong and supporting every decision of hers especially in the last 1 month, hinting towards her broken ties with Sidharth.
