Shahid Kapoor is another Bollywood actor who is enjoying his family time since he welcomed his second child Zain on September 5 this year. However, for a while now, rumours were doing rounds that the actor has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. A report published as blind item suggested that Shahid Kapoor is not keeping well and has cancer. But now, the actor’s family has put all rumours to rest denying them.

Shahid Kapoor’s family stated that the rumours are purely baseless and the actor is doing fine. One of Shahid's family member revealed to ABP that, "log kuchh bhi kaise likh sakte hain? Aakhir is khabar ka aadhar kya hai? Is tarah ki afwaahein phailaane ko kis tarah se jaayaz thehraya ja sakta hai?" (How can people write just anything? This news is based on what? Spreading rumors like these is not acceptable)."

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor along with his beautiful wife Mira were spotted soaking up the winter sun in Delhi. They shared pictures from their sunny afternoon on Instagram. First, Mira shared her solo selfie on her Instagram stories and then loving husband Shahid shared another gorgeous click in which the duo shared the frame. In the picture, Shahid is seen in his beardless Kabir Singh look.

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu opposite Shraddha Kapoor. He will next be seen in Kabir Singh- the Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film will see actress Kiara Advani as the lead. Kabir Singh will be shot extensively in Mumbai, Delhi and Mussoorie. Shahid will sport four different looks in the film and has been preparing for it over the last three months.

Shahid Kapoor hopes the audience gives the film a lot of love. "Arjun Reddy was loved and appreciated. Now it is time for Kabir Singh! Get reddy to see him in 2019," the actor tweeted.
