Rumors of Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan’s return to India has been doing rounds all over the internet for quite some time. It was being said that the actor will return to India to celebrate Diwali but nothing was confirmed. Looks like the actor did come to his home and made a hush-hush entry for two-days. The rumors have it that Irrfan Khan returned to Mumbai for 2 days to celebrate Diwali at his Nashik farmhouse and went back to London without getting noticed.
Irrfan Khan’s publicist revealed that the actor didn’t want anyone to know about his visit. According to the reports in SpotBoye, it is revealed that he recently made a quiet visit to India for a very personal reason. He made a brief visit to the Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple in Nashik for a Puja and havan with Pundits. The exact details are still under wraps but it is suggested that it was a just a 2-day visit following which he quickly went back to London, for further treatment.
Irrfan Khan has been diagnosed with a rare cancer and is undergoing treatment in London these days. He announced about his illness in March this year through a social media post. There were reports that Irrfan will start working on Hindi Medium 2 as soon he is in India. His spokesperson had immediately released a statement denying such speculations, and sharing an update about his visit to the country. "The story floating about Irrfan starting 'Hindi Medium 2' shoot in December are all based on speculations. However there is a possibility of him returning to India after Diwali," Irrfan's spokesperson said.
Undoubtedly, Irrfan Khan’s fans are continuously praying for his good health and the actor keeps them updates about his health every now and then. Before the illness, Irrfan Khan was supposed to start the shoot of his next film with Deepika Padukone and Vishal Bhardwaj but now the film has been dropped.
