Actor Irrfan Khan recently announced that he is suffering from NeuroEndocrine tumour. This made his fans sad who are praying for his speedy recovery. It was earlier being said that the actor is leaving for the US for treatment, but latest reports suggest that he has headed to London on Sunday morning. Apparently, an Indian doctor in English capital who has done research on Neuroendocrine tumour will take care of Irrfan’s treatment.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Irrfan’s friend stated that after examining the actor’s heath, doctor has assured that his condition is curable and there is no danger to his life.

Few days back Irrfan took to micro-blogging site Twitter and said, “Life is under no obligation to give us what we expect. - Margaret Mitchell. The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes. As for the rumours that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research ;-) To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.”

We hope the actor gets well soon and return to the industry for his second innings. On a related note, Irrfan’s upcoming film Blackmail is all set to hit the screens on April 6.
