Bollywood veteran actress Sridevi passed away late Saturday at 11 pm in Dubai after a massive cardiac arrest. The actress was last seen in 2017 flick Mom, in which Pakistani actor Sajal Ali played her onscreen daughter. Sajal, too was shocked by her sudden demise and shared her grief with a picture on social media.
Sajal posted a photograph with Sridevi with caption: ''Lost my mom again''. Sajal lost her mother during the shooting of Mom and during that difficult time, Sridevi was there by her side. Reports said that Sridevi doesn't like mixing with her colleagues as she is a complete professional artist on the sets. But, she shared a different equation with Sajal.
Many other Pakistani celebrities took to Twitter to express their grief and condolences to the family. Raees actress Mahira Khan wrote on Twitter: ''So grateful to have grown up and lived in the times of #sridevi . Thank you for the movies, thank you for the magic. You shall live on forever..'' Legendary singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was also shocked by the sudden death of the actress. He took to the micro-blogging site to pay tribute to the icon. ''My condolences to @BoneyKapoor Ji and the Kapoor family. Deeply saddened to loose an icon like #Sridevi Ji,'' he wrote.
