This weekend, Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor are going to grace The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their upcoming film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. While talking to the host Kapil Sharma, Sonam divulged an interesting detail about her married life with Anand Ahuja. She revealed that after her wedding, she started wearing Choodas (red bangles worn by married Indian women) which left her husband baffled. The businessman is not aware about this tradition and hence asked her to remove the chooda. According to him, the bangles are not going well with her outfits.
Sonam Kapoor shared another incident from her wedding when her close friend Swara Bhasker tried to hide Anand Ahuja’s shoes as a part of the ritual. However, Anand was too smart and he somehow fooled Swara into stealing his brother’s shoes. Even though she couldn’t steal the groom’s shoes, she gave her money as a part of the Shagun.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja got married in May last year in a big fat Indian wedding. The wedding was attended by many Bollywood celebrities including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and others.
On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga opposite Rajkummar Rao. She will share screen with father Anil Kapoor for the first time in her Bollywood career. The film will release on February 1.
