Bollywood actor Ashutosh Rana, known more for his villainous roles than anything else, is celebrating his 50th birthday today. The actor has portrayed some very strong roles on screen and audience have loved to hate his characters. Ashutosh has always refused to be a stereotypical Bollywood star and that is exactly what made him a great actor. Dushman 

This 1998 psychological thriller film starring Sanjay Dutt, Kajol and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles was directed by Tanuja Chandra and produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt. Ashutosh played the perfect villain as Gokul Pandit, which sent shivers down our spines.

Sangharsh 

One of his most iconic roles came in the movie Sangharsh as Lajja Shankar Pandey. This 1999 film. which was based on 1991 American movie The Silence of the Lamb also starred Akshay Kumar, Preity Zinta, and Ashutosh Rana.

Danger 

There's an edgy, over-the-top performance by Ashutosh Rana as a gleefully sadistic mobster's accountant in this 2000 film.  He makes his scenes crackle with barely contained malice, and proves once again that he's a highly capable actor with a commanding on-screen presence.
