The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival celebrated to seek removal of obstacles from the elephant God. In the next 10 days all you get to hear is "GANPATI BAPPA MORYA" in every corner of the city. Our beloved Bollywood celebrations are also celebrating the auspicious day with all devotion and excitement. Despite their hectic schedule, a lot of Bollywood celebrities welcome ‘bappa’ to their home and seek his blessings, while most of them visit pandals including Lalbaugcha Raja, Andheri cha Raja, Ganesh Galli Mumbai cha Raja and Chinchpokli Chintamani, among others.

Sanjay Dutt was seen bringing home the lord along with his children Shahraan and Iqra. He was spotted in his car with the statue of Ganesha in his hand.

Shilpa was snapped wearing a pink salwar kameez with a printed dupatta, carrying the statue into her residence, with her husband Raj Kundra.
Daisy Shah
Race 3 actress Daisy Shah too welcomed the lord into her home. In all these cases, what was evident was that they all brought home eco-friendly statues.

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of those Hindu festivals in India which is welcomed with grand pompous celebration. People all around our country dwell into the preparations to welcome Lord Ganesha with the whole of their heart. Bollywood also depicts that in a creative and beautiful manner. As the whole of our Film Industry is situated in Maharashtra, Bollywood is very familiar with the grand celebrations and has a special place for Lord Ganpati in their movies and songs.
