Bollywood film producer Rajkumar Barjatya and filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s father passed away at Mumbai’s Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital on Thursday morning. Film Trade analyst Komal Nahta took to Twitter to break the news and pay his condolences. He wrote, “Terribly shocking news. Shri Rajkumar Barjatya passed away some minutes back at Reliance Hurkissondas Hospital. Can’t believe this. Met him just a week back at his Prabhadevi office. He spent so much time with me and my family. He looked perfectly alright then. And now, he’s gone!”
He was a Bollywood producer and under his production house, Rajshri Productions, he has bankrolled many films like Vivah, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Saath Sath Hain.
He is now survived by his wife Sudha Barjatya and his son Sooraj Barjatya.
