Undeniable, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s Italy wedding has become the talk of the town. From their breath-taking looks on their special day to Deepika’s name on Ranveer’s hand, fans can’t stop talking about their dreamy marriage. While their romance and pictures are still bringing smile on many faces, the duo has landed in trouble owing to their Anand Karaj wedding ceremony that happened on November 15 in Italy.

As per a report in Times Of India, it is being alleged that President of Italian Sikh organization has claimed that Ranveer and Deepika's Anand Karaj ceremony has violated the Sikh code of conduct as the Akal Takht strictly prohibits taking Guru Granth Sahib to a place other than Gurudwara. It is also said that the President has even taken up this matter to Akal Takht Jathedar to seek help for further action. Akal Takht Jathedar has apparently responded that they will take the matter to five high priests once the complaint is registered. Looks like all is not well in the newlyweds’ paradise.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have touched down in Mumbai and received a warm welcome from their fans on the airport itself. The chaos made it difficult for the duo to leave the airport and being the chivalrous man he is, Ranveer Singh acted as the perfect husband to Deepika Padukone and protected her from the crowd by wrapping his hands around her. He safely escorted his ladylove to their car, from where they drove to the actor’s house for the new bride’s grah pravesh.

Interesting, while DeepVeer looked radiant in their colour co-ordinated golden and red traditional outfits, it was Ranveer Singh's mehendi that caught everyone's attention. On taking a closer look, we see that Ranveer Singh’s mehendi contains his wife, Deepika’s name but in a symbolic way. It’s not really the alphabets proclaiming Deepika’s name but the symbol of a diya, also called deep (for Deep in Deepika). 'Deep' literally means 'light'.

The couple first got married on November 14 in a traditional Konkani ceremony, which was followed by a Sindhi wedding on November 15. Now Mr and Mrs Bhavnani will be hosting two grand receptions over the next few days. Their first wedding reception will be held on November 21 at Bengaluru, whereas, the other reception will take place at Grand Hyatt Mumbai on November 28.
