The pre-wedding celebrations have officially kicked off for Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who will tie the knot on November 14-15 in an intimate ceremony. A traditional South Indian ceremony, reported to be a Nandi Puja, was held in Bangalore, Deepika’s hometown. Now, pictures from the Haldi ceremony are out now on social media.
Pictures of Ranveer Singh’s face smeared with haldi are doing rounds across the internet and, needless to say Deepveer fans can’t seem to hold their excitement.

Reports have it that the Haldi ceremony was celebrated at Ranveer’s place in Bandra, Mumbai. The ceremony was reportedly attended by family and close friends.

Taking a detour from the usual way in which Bollywood celebs tie the knot – in secret while speculation rages around them – Deepika and Ranveer confirmed their wedding dates on social media while thanking their fans and well-wishers for all the love and support.''
“We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness,” their joint statement read as they announced November 14 and 15 as wedding dates.
Just like Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, the wedding of Deepika and Ranveer will be attended by only their family and close friends. However, some of their close industry colleagues may be in attendance including Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Arjun Kapoor and Karan Johar. Deepika and Ranveer started dating on the sets of Bhansali’s Goliyon ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela and have done two more blockbusters with him including Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani. Coincidentally, Ram Leela released on November 15, 2013.
For their friends from the industry, Deepika and Ranveer will host a reception ceremony in Mumbai and for some close friends and relatives, an intimate wedding reception will be held in Bangalore. Deepika’s family hails from Bangalore, so for the wedding reception there, the couple has booked the ballroom of The Leela Palace Hotel. The wedding reception in Bangalore will take place on November 21, 2018.
