Deepika Padukone was a sight to behold at Met Gala 2019 after party. While she sizzled in a baby pink 3-D printed gown at the red carpet, the Piku star slipped into a bright yellow bodycon dress for the night. She paired her outfit with a black and white long shrug which was the highlight of her overall look. While no one trolled her Met Gala look, Deepika Padukone herself took a jibe at her outfit. Sharing a picture on her Instagram story, DP referred to Ranveer Singh's funky look and hinted that it was her husband that inspired her Met Gala after party look. In the picture, Ranveer Singh is seen in two outlandish outfits; one is a lime green suit while the other is a black and white leopard print pantsuit. Both of these looks fused together to give out Deepika Padukone's Met Gala after party outfit.

In another Instagram story, Deepika Padukone asked her fans if she should wear red for Cannes 2019 red carpet. The French Riviera kickstarted today in Cannes and will extend up to 25th of May. Kangana Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat already made their appearance at Cannes with a lots of eyeballs set upon them.

On the work front, a report has popped up that Deepika Padukone is investing money in her husband Ranveer Singh's upcoming film 83. Also, she will play his onscreen wife, Romi Bhatia in the Kabir Khan directorial. This would be Deepika's second production venture, the first being Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. 

Deepika Padukone has just wrapped up the Delhi schedule of her Vikrant Massey starrer Chhapaak a few days ago. She will resume working on the film for another schedule soon. The film is loosely based on real-life acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. 

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married last year in Italy. They were dating each other for six years before taking the leap. Their last film together was Padmaavat in which they were not paired opposite each other.
