Recently, Ranveer opened up on his relationship with Deepika on a chat show with Karan Johar. The 33-year-old revealed that Deepika is his bestie and that's the bets thing about their relationship.

"When we are home, we are super chill. We are like friends. And that's the most beautiful part about it. We have a lot of common ground. Since we both are movie stars, we have a lot more to talk about. But I think what is most significant for me is that we are besties. We are BFFs. We are buddies. We can talk endlessly, we can spend endless amounts of time with each other, we can spend time with each other in silence, doing our own thing and being totally comfortable."

On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will be seen next in Chhapaak, which is her first first production venture. It inspired by acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal’s life. In the film, DP is paired opposite Vikrant Massey for the first time.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is currently busy preparing for his next project, Kabir Khan's 83. The movie based on India's historic Cricket World Cup victory in 1983 has Ranveer playing the lead role of Kapil Dev.
