Akshay Kumar attended Cricket World Cup Finals 2019 in style. The actor, who will be seen next in Mission Mangal and Sooryavanshi joined Sourav Ganguly and Harbhajan Singh at Star Sports' studio ahead of New Zealand Vs England match.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar attended 2019 Cricket World Cup finals as a cricket expert at Lord's today. While cricket fans across the globe are excited to witness the first ever final between New Zealand and England, seeing Akshay Kumar at Star Sports'studio with Indian cricket legends Sourav Ganguly and Harbhajan Singh is surely a delight. The Khiladi of Bollywood, who will be seen next in Sooryavanshi and Mission Mangal, was also spotted watching the match from the VIP area as England bowlers take over New Zealand batsmen in the first innings of the 2019 Cricket World Cup Final.

Dressed in a crisp white shirt and a pair of black formal pants, Akshay Kumar made a striking appearance ar the World Cup final day.

Akshay Kumar is a cricket fan but his son Aarav does not like the sport. Why? Because he (Akshay) watches it a lot. Akshay opened up about his love for cricket and why Aarav dislikes it when he became part of Star Sports Philips Hue Cricket Live, reads a statement.

"My son isn't into cricket, but my daughter (Nitara) is. She is just six years old and loves cricket. My son hates cricket because I watch the sport a lot. But my daughter loves it when I watch (it), because then even she gets a chance to watch it," he said.

The "Kesari" actor also became nostalgic while discussing cricket with former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly and veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh. 

"I played cricket for my school. Usually players are selected for their bowling and batting skills. But I remember being taken into the team for my fielding skills. People used to say 'this boy is for fielding, he will run around and stop boundaries'," said the actor.
