Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi, who is gearing up for his next project titled Total Dhamaal, informed that his Twitter account got hacked. Arshad on Tuesday morning tweeted that some messages have been sent from his account without his knowledge.
"It seems like my Twitter account is hacked, some strange messages are being sent from my account without my knowledge," he wrote.
"Changed my password, expecting things to go back to normal," he added.
On the Bollywood front, the actor will next be seen in "Total Dhamaal" directed by Indra Kumar. It is the sequel to the 2011 film "Double Dhamaal" and the third instalment of the "Dhamaal" film series.
The film also features Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaffrey, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Esha Gupta.
Notabhly, earlier actor Abhishek Bachchan's Twitter account was also hacked. The pro-Pakistani Turkish cyber army Ayyildiz Tim, which had earlier hacked veteran actor Anupam Kher's Twitter account, hacked Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan’s Twitter account.
As a result of the hacking, the verification tick on Abhishek's Twitter account vanished, and his cover photograph featured a missile that read "Ayyildiz Tim" in chalk. Abhishek's profile also had several tweets in Turkish.
Twitter said in an official post: "Our teams are working to resolve an issue affecting a small number of Indian users. We will notify affected account holders directly. Reminder: do not click on links in DMs coming from unknown accounts."
