Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have been ruling the headlines ever since the actress out forward her wish to work with Vicky on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. Ever since the duo are seen sharing screen space on the awards show as well as sat down for a conversation in Tapecast. The rumours had it that the two actors have bonded well and are dating. This is also said to be the reason behind Vicky Kaushal’s break up with ex-girlfriend and ‘Broken’ actress Harleen Sethi. However, Neha Dhupia has put an end to all the rumours as she denied on the show that these two actors are dating.
Going by the reports in Pinkvilla, Neha Dhupia went candid with them while on the sets of her chat show BFFs with Vogue. Neha was asked to name a person who throws the least tantrums on the sets, she named ‘Katrina Kaif’. During the blink segment when one just needs to blink for the answer, Neha was asked if Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are dating, the actress blinked twice which meant that the duo isn’t. On the other hand, it was also said that not Katrina Kaif, but Bhumi Pednekar was the reason behind Vicky Kaushal and Harleen Sethi’s breakup. It is said that Harleen was not okay with Vicky’s closeness with Bhumi who is working with him on their next film which is a horror-comedy.
Both Vicky Kaushal and Harleen Sethi announced that they have broken up but giving direct hints. During an awards show when Vicky was asked about his relationship status, he said, ‘bilkul akela hu’. On the hand, Harleen told Pinkvilla, to Pinkvilla and said, “Honestly, it did not bother me but it did bother my family and friends. As an individual, we all have our own identities. I was associated with a movie star and I haven't done a movie yet, doesn't make me any less. I still love myself. And I would love to be known as Harleen Sethi. I am Harleen Sethi. I think it will be unfair to call someone else my ex-boyfriend, right?"
Harleen also believes that her breakup with Vicky Kaushal also helped her act well in web series Broken. She said, "I think for an actor it is essential to experience all sort of emotions in real life. In a way, it is good that what happened, happened."
