Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have landed in Mumbai. The couple was in Delhi to host a grand reception party for their relatives at Taj Diplomatic Enclave. As per the reports, Virat and Anushka were travelling in the same flight as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan and their munchkin Taimur. After landing in Mumbai, the couple is headed straight to their new residence in Worli. They spent whopping Rs. 34 crore on their plush apartment in Worli.

According to a SpotboyE report, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were in the same flight as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Taimur. The three were also returning to Mumbai after celebrating the baby’s first birthday at Pataudi Palace in Haryana.

Anushka Sharma was accompanied by her father Ajay Kumar Sharma and brother Karnesh.

In the last night’s event, Anushka and Virat were truly a vision in traditional ensembles. Anushka Sharma wore a red and golden Sabyasachi saree paired with heavy jewellery. She wore minimal makeup, but the red vermillion on her forehead added charms to her overall guise. Virat Kohli wore a black bandhgala with a heavy embroidered Pashmina shawl. PM Modi, cricketers Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina, singer Gurdaas Mann and many others graced the event last night.

For those who weren’t able to attend the Delhi event, the couple will be hosting a gala reception at St. Regis in Mumbai on December 26. After winding up the wedding reception, Anushka and Virat will leave for South Africa where the latter will resume his duty as the captain of Indian cricket team. The couple will celebrate the New Year together in South Africa. They will return to Mumbai in January to register their marriage with Mumbai court.
