A lot has been speculated about Anushka Sharma being pregnant with Virat Kohli's child. Say for that matter, some websites are even carrying reports on how the reason why Anushka hasn't announced any film after Zero is because she's expecting. But guess, all of this is nothing but a figment on imagination as Anushka, in her recent Hindustan Times interview, just shut down all the pregnancy rumours by calling it 'absurd' and 'silly'. She's in fact amused how people find this joy in making someone a mother even before she is pregnant.
"That (spreading rumours) is something people will do anyway. It’s completely unnecessary and silly as you ultimately can’t hide such a thing. You can hide a marriage but not pregnancy. I feel every female actor goes through it, so people marry you off even before you are hitched and make you a mother before you are pregnant. I don’t pay attention to it, and just laugh these things off since I find them hilarious. When I read about such stuff, I think, ‘where do such absurd things come from?’ Right now, I’m literally working round-the-clock", clarified Anushka, setting the records straight once and for all.
Anushka Sharma is all set to feature in Zero, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The actress will be essaying the character of a handicapped in this Aanand L Rai directorial project. Shah Rukh will be portraying a dwarf role in the film.
The leading stars Anushka, Katrina and Shah Rukh have already started the promotions of their film. Anushka recently talking to The Quint revealed about her character in the film.
Anushka said that before explaining the character to her, the makers did a proper research on it. She said, ‘’Both Himanshu and Aanand sir researched a lot about this character, about her condition. When they came to me the research was in place. They even knew her body language, they were aware of everything. Then it was just for me to follow their vision. I think he has a lot of clarity as a director in how he wanted to portray this character. He told me, ‘I want her life to be celebrated and not have pity on her or Shah Rukh's character.’”
