This is no secret that veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is in The States for the shoot of his American tele series New Amsterdam. After taking a stroll on Manhattan streets with his old friend Rishi Kapoor, the actor met Bollywood diva Sonali Bendre Behl for dinner in New York. Sonali is undergoing metastatic cancer treatment in NYC and going by the pictures of the duo together, we can say that the dinner was a lot more fun.
Anupam Kher took to his social media to share a string of photographs of himself along with Sonali Bendre and her filmmaker husband Goldie Behl. The actor captioned the pictures as, "'The elegance under pressure is the result of fearlessness'. It was so wonderful and refreshing to have dinner with the most beautiful, inspirational and courageous Sonali Bendre along with the compassionate Goldie Behl and ever smiling Rupa."
Sonali has always remained positive in her outlook as she battles the serious ailment, with support from her family and friends. Since the moment her friend from Bollywood got to know about her illness, love and wishes have been pouring in. Even when Anupam Kher came to know about it, he took to Twitter to share his blessings, love and wishes and even called her his Hero. He tweeted, "I have done few films with @iamsonalibendre. We've met socially many times in Mumbai. She always has been bright & a very warm person. But it is only in the last 15days that I got the opportunity to spend some quality time with her in NY. And I can easily say, "She is my HERO."
After meeting Sonali this time as well, Anupam Kher is all praise for her. He called her the most courageous person and we can’t agree more. Just recently, even Neetu Kapoor shared pictures of herself and Rishi Kapoor with Sonali Bendre and her husband and shower all her love on her.
