Bachchan family is know for celebrations and family get together. Amitabh Bachchan and his family has always celebrated special occasions and festivals in style. They rang in New Year too, with great enthusiasm and Big B gave us a glimpse of it on his social media pages. The megastar spent some memorable time with his lovely granddaughters- Navya Naveli Nanda and Aaradhya.
He wrote in detail, how his family welcomed 2018 in his blog and posted few pictures. In one of the snaps the 75-year-old is seen wearing Aaradhya's hair band while the li'l girl couldn't control her laughter. He shared the picture with caption, ''The little one Aaradhya places her 'tiara' hair band on Dada ji and freaks out .. Happy New Year 2018''. Another snap was of his 'bestest granddaughters' in which Aaradhya dressed in red frock was sitting on lap of her di Navya. Amitabh's caption read, ''Daughters be the best ... grand daughters the bestest .. Navya Naveli and Aaradhya''.
Mentioning about the Bachchans' New Year celebration, he wrote, ''The family sits out in the 'angan' my most favoured destination in the house .. the wife has decorated the table and the food .. it is intimate and warm and delicious .. the grand children are there in smiles and affection .. and what more can one ever desire .. and the little one removes here 'tiara' hair band , places it on her Dada ji's head and finds it hilarious.. the happiest of new years .. and more .. she designs gentle decorative cards for all and presents little gifts for us .. urging everyone to open the gift and give opinion on it .."
Big B also met his fans on 31st December who queued up outside his residence, Jalsa. Speaking about the same in his blog, he wrote, ''The well-wishers are in greater enthusiasm .. their love and their voices more passionate and in cheer .. the wave is subdued due to the strappings on the shoulder .. but not the love.''
