Amitabh Bachchan is busy shooting for his upcoming film Jhund in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The actor was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan which didn’t much well at the box office. However, the actor is prepping up for his next release with full zeal and passion. While shooting for the Nagraj Manjule’s Bollywood debut, the megastar is enjoying the village life on the sets and he’s enjoying it to the fullest. He shared the behind-the-scene pictures from the sets on his social media.
From the pictures Amitabh Bachchan shared, it looks like Jhund is being shot at a village location. The megastar wrote in Hindi, “Bade dinnon ke baad gaon ki khatiya aur bailgaadi ki sawaari ka saubhagya praapt hua.”
In one of the pictures, Amitabh Bachchan is seen dozing off at a Khatiya (makeshift bed) with a piece of paper in his hand. In another he’s sitting on a bullock cart, dazing at something.
In early December, Amitabh Bachchan left for Nagpur where the action is stationed for past one month. He’s shooting for his upcoming film extensively and feeding the information about the project to his Instafam.
Nagraj Manjule’s Jhund is based on the life of Vijay Barse, who founded Slum Soccer. Amitabh Bachchan is playing the role of a professor who inspires village kids to play football and form a team. The film is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath and Manjule.
