Alia Bhatt has always been very vocal about her friendly relationship with father Mahesh Bhatt and mother Soni Razdan. The actress appears to be able to talk about everything under the sun with them and they also let her enjoy her share of good and bad experiences. After father Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan has also come out in the open to shower praises on Alia Bhatt’s alleged boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and revealed that she is happy if her daughter is happy.
Soni Razdan is gearing up for the release of her next film No Fathers in Kashmir. The actress was talking about the same when she addressed the question about daughter Alia Bhatt’s relationship with actor Ranbir Kapoor and told Bollywoodlife, “It’s her personal life. Ranbir is a lovely boy. I think whoever Alia has dated before or will date, (it) is her choice and her life. I’ll always support her but I don’t think I should discuss this you know. It’s not right on my part to discuss (her personal life) in public. As a mom, I’m just happy if she is happy.” Further praising Ranbir, Razdan said, "Ranbir is a very well brought up boy. A wonderful actor and a wonderful human being as well."
While Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have not come out in the open about their relationship, the duo keeps dropping hints about the same. When Alia Bhatt appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan with Deepika Padukone, it was quite evident that she is dating Ranbir. Also, recently when Alia Bhatt won the best actress Filmfare award for Raazi, in her speech she thanked her special one. She said, “Meghna for me Raazi is you, your blood and sweat. You are my main chick. Vicky without you, the film wouldn’t be complete. Thank you my mentor Karan for being my mentor, father and my fashion police. Tonight’s all about love there my special one, I love you (Ranbir).”
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor’s liking and closeness with Alia Bhatt is evident in her Instagram posts. While Alia bagged the best actress award at Filmfare, Ranbir won the best actor award for Sanju. Soon after the award-winning ceremony, Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram to share the couple’s picture and wrote, “AND moments like these make you forget all the stress congratulations so proud n happy #filmfareawards #bestactor#bestactress”
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2, Karan Johar’s Takht, SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, will start shooting for Luv Ranjan’s action drama with Ajay Devgn after completing Shamshera and Brahmastra.
