Alia Bhatt is all set to work with her father and ace filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt for the first time and she reveals that she is very scared to be directed by him in the upcoming film Sadak 2. The actress is already loaded with films and projects and one of them is much-awaited Sadak 2 which will not only bring back Mahesh Bhatt as a director but also revive the iconic pairing of Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt. On the other hand, Alia will be seen opposite handsome hunk Aditya Roy Kapur in the second installment of 1991 hit film Sadak.

While talking to Deccan Chronicle about working with her father Mahesh Bhatt, Alia revealed, "Right now, I am scared to be directed by my father. He is looking at me every day and saying I am going to get through you. He has an X-ray vision kind of thing." She added, "I have a wall around me every now and then and I let very few people in (cross that wall). My father is waiting to break that wall down. So, I am a little scared but I think it will be fun. We start shooting this year."

Last year on Mahesh Bhatt’s 70th birthday, the actress announced Sadak 2 by sharing a picture of the star cast of the film. 1991 hit film Sadak starring Sanjay Dutt and Alia’s sister Pooja came out around 17 years ago and it was a massive success with many touting it to be the actor’s best performance till date. Sharing the video in which Alia was seen announcing the sequel she wrote, “A Mahesh Bhatt Film” followed by a heart emoji.

Not just Alia Bhatt but 'Sanju Baba' aka Sanjay Dutt took to social media as well to express gratitude to Mahesh Bhatt for 'giving him Sadak' and how he was proud to take the journey with him again. He also wished the 'Aashiqui' director a Happy Birthday as he turned 70.
