Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has always maintained that she is protective of her daughter Aaradhya. The actress is often questioned on the social media about her ‘over-protectiveness’ of her daughter, especially when in public. This time again, pictures of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan holding her eight-year-old daughter Aaradhya's hand has caught social media attention and they have trolled her harshly. The Bachchans had gone on a family dinner at a restaurant in Mumbai last night, and some social media users could not stop but troll Aishwarya for holding Aaradhya's hand, something that she does often in public.

Fans chided the actress for being an over-protective mother and reminded her of her daughter's age. One Instagram user wrote: "Aish needs to cut the umbilical cord. The girl is in her eighth year".  Another wrote: "Please leave her hand Aishwarya and walk her freely." "Hope her daughter doesn't get shoulder pain by this position always," a user stated. Another replied: "For God's sake leave her hands. She is not three years old". Check out the videos and pictures of Aishwarya and Aaradhya here-

This is not the first time Aishwarya has been trolled for holding daughter Aaradhya’s hand tightly. Earlier also netizens showered their comments on her and suggested to go easy with her daughter. In fact, when the actress returned to Mumbai with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and Aaradhya from their Maldives vacation, she was spotted holding her daughter’s hand in a similar way.

On the other hand, Aishwarya had reacted to these trolls earlier and had said that they don’t define her. She also stated that if she sees photographers are walking backwards or tripping and falling on to other passengers to get a picture, she will be protective to Aaradhya as a mother and she will be empathetic to others who are being inconvenienced.

On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen on-screen in "Fanney Khan" opposite Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
