After breaking the internet with his brilliant performance in web series Sacred Games, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is all set to set fire to the theaters with his upcoming movies Taanji: The Unsung Warrior and Hunter. While the viewers are already waiting for him with Sacred Games 2, reports suggest that the actor will be featuring in another thriller directed by Sriram Raghavan.
According to the reports in DNA, Sriram Raghavan and Saif Ali Khan might come together for a film as the two have been in talks to work together for a long time. About Saif and Sriram's collaboration, a source informed the daily, "Sriram is planning two scripts — one is the biopic on Param Vir Chakra awardee Arun Khetarpal, titled Ekkis, while the other is a thriller. He and Saif had been discussing doing a film together for some time. Recently, when they met, the filmmaker bounced off the ideas to the actor. The latter liked both the stories and they have decided to collaborate on one of the projects."
The source added, "Ekkis will mostly have a young actor playing the late lieutenant. There’s also another prominent role in the biopic, which suits Saif. If not this, the actor-director pair will definitely work on the thriller next. They are currently deciding which one to do first. The film is expected to go on floors in 2019."
Saif Ali Khan’s choices of films have changed a lot in the previous years. The actor is seen in a variety of roles rather than playing just a typical hero. His last movie Baazaar saw him portray the role of a cruel businessman. In his next film Tanaji as well, Saif will be playing the negative role opposite Ajay Devgn. Not it would be exciting for fans to watch him in another thrilling role.
