After receiving Crystal Award, Shah Rukh Khan bids farewell to Davos (in pics)

The Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan added another feather to his cap as he was honoured with prestigious Crystal Award in Davos recently. The 24th annual Crystal Award was part of the World Economic Forum's 48th annual meeting and was given to SRK for his leadership. The superstar is being felicitated for ''his leadership in championing children's and women's rights in India,'' said the WEF. Now that the prestigious ceremony is done with, SRK is returning from Davos. The actor looks charming as ever in the photos and is full of gratitude.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Shah Rukh Khan shared some lovely clicks with a heartfelt message that read, “Goodbye Davos. Thanks Prof. & Mrs. Schwab for the Crystal award. To all wonderful people at Davos for being so gracious and lovely”.

Shah Rukh, one of Hindi cinema's most globally known faces, was feted as he is a founder of the non-profit Meer Foundation, which provides support to female victims of acid attacks and major burn injuries through medical treatment, legal aid, vocational training, rehabilitation and livelihood support.
He has also been responsible for the creation of specialised children's hospital wards and has supported child care centres with free boarding for children undergoing cancer treatment.
This year, the World Economic Forum also had the first Indian Prime Minister participating since 1997. Narendra Modi will address the plenary session of the prestigious global business meet.
