Bollywood diva Disha Patani has emerged as one of the top actresses of the film industry. With just a bunch of films to her credit, the actress has made her mark in Bollywood and all big filmmakers of B-Town desire to work with her. After giving a blockbuster film like Baaghi 2 with rumoured boyfriend Tiger Shroff, Disha is currently shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat along with Salman Khan. Now the buzz has it that she will join the superstar for his superhit film Kick sequel as well.
Going by the reports in Mumbai Mirror, a source revealed to the tabloid that Disha Patani is in the running for the female lead of the 2014 action-thriller film. Kick marked the directorial debut of Sajid Nadiadwala and after working with Disha on Baaghi 2, the director is much interested to rope the actress in for Kick sequel. The source also revealed that Disha and Sajid are in talks about other scripts as well and, “One of them is Baaghi 3, which is being scripted but is definitely in the pipeline.” The makers have already announced the release date of Baaghi 3 with tiger shroff in the lead. When asked about Disha’s character committing suicide in Baaghi 2, the makers reasoned out the third part of the franchise will not pick up from the second but will be a new story.
Earlier in a statement, Disha Patani revealed that she is yearning for strong female roles as she is getting trained under martial arts and celebrity action-trainer Rakesh Yadav. Now, which script will Disha chose, only time will tell. For now, fans are excited about her upcoming film with Salman Khan, Bharat, which also stars Katrina Kaif. It is rumoured that Disha will be playing the role of Salman’s sister in the film.
Talking about working with Salman, Disha Patani said: "He is very nice. He is a great human being and he's a great co-star. We are working very hard for the film. We are doing different scenes and action. It has been really nice and it has been really great."
