Like every other actor, Bollywood actor Dharmendra also had his share of struggles when he first came to Bombay. He was rejected from many films while there were projects he himself had to leave but his dedication and hard work paid and eventually made him the most desirable Bollywood actor.
The actor, who is gearing up for his next release Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, talked about his struggling days when he first arrived in the city of dreams. Dharmendra reveals that even when he didn’t have work in his early days, he maintained his self-respect and followed the motto that ‘work is worship’.
Dharmendra reveals he never wanted to be No. 1
Even though Bollywood actor Dharmendra lived his life King size with popularity and money knocking his door, he never felt the desire to be No. 1 at all times. According to the legendary actor, no one can be No. 1 in Bollywood all the time. Talking about himself, he reveals that he never desired for the top position but always craved for good work.

Directed by Navaniat Singh, Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se revolves around the lives of a father and his two sons. While the father (essayed by Dharmendra) and one of his sons (Bobby) are conmen, the other son (Sunny) plays a righteous and strong man. The film will hit the big screens on August 31.
