It is learned that the Koyeri was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital after suffering from a massive heartstroke. With no doctors to attend and laying on bed for several hours, Aamir Khan reached for help in no time and got him treated.
According to the reports in Mumbai Mirror, the sound technician had no doctor visit him after he was wheeled out of MRI room, for his treatment on September 6, despite being admitted with levels of creatinine.With no other means to get treated, Koyeri’s family got in touch with the Bollywood superstar to ask for help. In no time, aamir Khan reached the Lilavati Hospital and was shocked to see the carelessness of the doctors. He immediately got Koyeri moved to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri.
He then got in touch with Anil Ambani, who owns the hospital and got him treated as an emergency case immidiately. By 3am Koyeri’s condition was stable and he was out of danger. According to Koyeri’s brother-in-law Sudhir Manikoth, the sound engineer was in urgent need of the treatment and even after asking for help several times, the staff didn't cooperate. Frustrated to the core, Manikanth had asked the staff, “Is this how you treat a patient who has suffered a stroke?” as reported by the mainline daily.

On the other hand, the report also revealed that the hospital has since denied these allegations of negligence. Dr Hemant Mehta, consultant nephrologist, revealed that Koyeri was at risk for kidney failure. “He was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome. He also suffered from piles, and had to be given blood transfusion to make up for the blood loss,” Dr Mehta said. It was on Thursday morning, Dr Mehta said, that his assistant noticed right eye paralysis and rushed Koyeri for an MRI. “Soon after Koyeri was shifted to the ICU, he also suffered a heart attack,” he said, and added that treatment for heart attack and brain stroke both were started immediately.
Shajith's sister Neesha speaking to Mumbai Mirror expressed her gratitude to Aamir. “Had he not been there, who knows how bad it could have got?” she said. Aamir Khan has definitely turned out to be a hero and netizens are in awe of his heroic act.
